me and my thoughts.

I am who I am.

I have a website and a "real" blog.

When I was in my first year of university,

theseer:

I took 1st year courses. In my second year of university, I took 2nd year courses. In my third year of university, I’ve taken 2nd year courses, and next term I’ll take 3rd year courses. In my fourth year of university, I’ll take 3rd year courses and then 4th year courses. In my fifth year of university, I’ll take 4th year courses.

What a horrible identity crisis.

I still say I’m in third year engineering.

At least in summer it won’t be a horrible miscommunication of the truth.

You’re right at the point where it’s awkward.  As you get to the end, you start saying that you’re in whatever year your term represents (I told everyone I was in fourth year in 4B), because saying “I’m in fifth year” tends to raise accusatory “did you fail a year?” eyebrows.
